Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team. As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, ensuring that all elements of the project are in sync. In this role, you will play a critical part in the success of our projects by overseeing the planning and coordination of various construction projects, including data centre construction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project information and updates
  • Analyze project data to identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions
  • Ensure that project schedules are in alignment with budget and resource constraints
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and team members
  • Contribute to the improvement of project planning processes and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in project planning and scheduling, particularly in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of data centre construction processes and requirements is a plus

Day-to-day

As a Project Planner, you will spend your days collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop and maintain project schedules, analyzing data to identify potential scheduling conflicts, and ensuring that project schedules align with budget and resource constraints. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting regular project status reports to stakeholders, contributing to the improvement of project planning processes, and actively participating in the coordination of various construction projects, including data centre construction.
