Overview

We are looking for a proactive HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
• Oversee the development and delivery of HSE training programs for employees and contractors
• Coordinate with project managers and site personnel to promote a safety-first culture
• Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure HSE programs are up to date

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Mechanical or related field
• Proven experience in HSE management in the engineering or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus

Day-to-day

• Conducting site inspections and audits
• Training and developing HSE procedures and processes
• Collaborating with project managers and site personnel
• Analyzing and reporting HSE performance metrics
• Implementing corrective actions from incident investigations
