If you’re a forward-thinker who thrives in a team-centered culture and is looking to make a tangible impact, this could be your next exciting career move.

As an MEP Superintendent, you'll be the driving force behind the execution of mechanical, electrical, and control systems—from construction startup through commissioning and handover. You’ll collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage MEP trades, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient execution.

  • Lead commissioning coordination and ensure a smooth client handoff.
  • Perform quality control, testing, and pre-startup procedures for all MEP systems.
  • Drive collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Guide the change order process while supporting project budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Champion safety, productivity, and excellence standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in general contracting is required; 3+ years in mission-critical/MEP commissioning is preferred.
  • Essential experience in hyperscale data centers or similar environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in MEP system design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and complex project settings.
  • Proficiency with project tools such as scheduling software, Procore, Bluebeam, and Textura.
  • Knowledge of LEED certification is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
  • A passionate commitment to integrity, equity, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Occasional travel may be required for project-related support.

Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check.

Day-to-Day

  • Establish and maintain a cohesive relationship with project teams to ensure seamless execution of MEP components.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system-specific challenges during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Communicate daily progress, updates, and any potential roadblocks to stakeholders.
  • Supervise on-site MEP trades to uphold quality, safety, and productivity standards.
  • Coordinate equipment delivery schedules, monitoring deliveries to align with project milestones.
  • Participate in walk-throughs and inspections to confirm project alignment with design specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all MEP-related activities, fostering open dialogue with the client and project stakeholders.
