Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Centre Construction Scheduler to join our team. This role is integral to the successful planning, execution, and delivery of data centre construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction scheduling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive construction schedules for data centre projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Analyze project schedules to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project goals.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project timelines, milestones, and progress for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of scheduling activities with overall project plans.
• Utilize scheduling software to create and manage project timelines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates to reflect changes in project scope or priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Scheduler, preferably in data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies in construction scheduling.

Day-to-Day

• Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information for schedule development and updates.
• Monitor daily progress and adjust schedules as needed to reflect real-time project conditions.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project timelines and address any scheduling concerns.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and propose solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company standards and industry regulations.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights and recommendations on scheduling matters.
