Job Description: Project Manager

Overview

This is an opportunity to work with a rapidly expanding Construction Technology company who are revolutionizing the industry. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and drive construction projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing mission-critical projects such as Data Centers or similar ventures. This person will liaise with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded. With a focus on delivering excellence, you’ll also foster strong relationships with clients and team members, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the project lifecycle.

Day-to-Day

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Lead construction projects from initiation to completion, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Visit construction sites when needed to oversee progress, and adherence to quality standards.
• Provide progress updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting project milestones, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deployment plans.
• Quickly assess risks and implement timely mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships by providing transparent communication and exceptional service.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment to ensure the success of diverse project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of construction projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Manage multiple construction sites, ensuring every phase of the project is delivered on time and within budget.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor resources effectively to meet project goals.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, status updates, and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving emerging challenges on-site.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment of goals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company standards, and best practices during construction activities.
• Drive sustainable and inclusive practices in all project phases, building strong team dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Equivalent M&E trade background will also be considered.
• Proven experience in project management focused on construction projects, particularly Data Centers or similar mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of project deployment, scheduling, budget control, and reporting.
• Demonstrated success in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with risk analysis and mitigation strategies for construction projects.
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites and managing on-ground teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within project teams.
