MEP Superintendent
Job Description
Overview
We’re seeking a Superintendent with strong experience in data center construction to lead field operations on high-performance, mission-critical projects. This role is central to delivering complex, fast-paced infrastructure projects with precision and accountability.
You’ll be responsible for day-to-day job site operations—managing schedules, resources, subcontractors, safety, and quality—while working closely with the Project Manager and other key stakeholders to ensure every phase aligns with operational and client expectations.
Responsibilities

Lead daily operations on active data center construction sites, ensuring adherence to tight timelines, critical infrastructure protocols, and high-performance standards.

Coordinate site logistics and work sequencing, including integration of MEP systems and commissioning milestones.

Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain master schedules and develop short-interval ("look-ahead") schedules.

Oversee subcontractor onboarding, scope alignment, and execution with a focus on coordination of mission-critical systems (electrical, mechanical, fiber, etc.).

Conduct regular meetings with crews, subcontractors, and client reps to address progress, issues, and expectations.

Enforce and uphold rigorous safety, QA/QC, and clean-room standards throughout the site.

Monitor project KPIs, material deliveries, and labor utilization; make adjustments to stay ahead of challenges.

Lead inspections, close-out processes, and turnover coordination to ensure operational readiness.

Drive project culture focused on safety, communication, and accountability.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience).

5+ years of experience managing data center or mission-critical facility construction.

Deep understanding of MEP systems, clean power design, and high-availability infrastructure.

Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specs, and technical reports.

Skilled in managing trade coordination, phasing, and system integration.

Experience with CMiC or similar construction management platforms.

OSHA certification and proven commitment to jobsite safety.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel or relocate based on project needs.
