We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Mission Critical, Data Centre to lead and oversee key aspects of our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of mission-critical projects, with a focus on Health & Safety, Project & Construction Management, and Land Development & Acquisition. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing complex data centre projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for mission-critical data centre projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Lead Project & Construction Management efforts, including planning, execution, and delivery of data centre projects on time and within budget.
• Drive Land Development & Acquisition initiatives, identifying and securing suitable locations for data centre expansion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges and ensure project success.
• Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience in managing mission-critical data centre projects, with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Project & Construction Management, and Land Development & Acquisition.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
• In-depth knowledge of data centre infrastructure, construction processes, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certifications in project management or construction management (e.g., PMP, LEED, etc.) are a plus.

Day-to-Day

• Lead daily project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align on priorities.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to resolve issues and maintain project timelines.
• Review and approve project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.

• Prepare and present detailed reports to senior leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes.
