• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including MEP engineers, contractors, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
• Perform detailed electrical load calculations to verify system capacity and efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during the commissioning phase, providing effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test reports, punch lists, and as-built records.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations throughout the commissioning process.
• Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of system functionality and maintenance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical commissioning, preferably within data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of MEP engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in performing electrical load calculations and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, and other relevant guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant certifications in commissioning or mechanical systems (e.g., LEED, CxA) are a plus.

Day-to-Day

• Conduct on-site inspections and testing of mechanical systems to ensure proper installation and functionality.
• Collaborate with project teams to address any design or operational challenges.
• Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Document all commissioning activities and maintain accurate records for project handover.
• Participate in project meetings to provide updates on commissioning progress and resolve any technical issues.
