Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Planning Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction schedules throughout the project life cycle, with expertise in Primavera P6 and a focus on hyperscale Data Centre construction projects. As a Planning Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team in effectively planning and scheduling construction projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain construction schedules for hyperscale Data Centre projects throughout the full project life cycle.
- Utilise Primavera P6 to create and manage project schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of planning and scheduling professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand and incorporate project requirements into scheduling and planning processes.
- Identify and mitigate potential schedule risks and conflicts, proactively addressing issues to maintain project timelines.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project schedules to project management and stakeholders, highlighting progress and potential challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling for hyperscale Data Centre construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project management software.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and collaborate with a diverse team.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse project requirements and develop comprehensive schedules that align with project goals and deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and a commitment to ensuring quality and efficiency in project scheduling.
Day-to-day
As a Planning Manager, you will spend your days collaborating with your team to develop and manage construction schedules for hyperscale Data Centre projects.
