## Position Summary:
The Project Director – Hyperscale Data Center Construction plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex, large-scale data center projects for a top general contracting firm. This position is designed for a senior-level professional with deep expertise in mission-critical infrastructure, particularly in the fast-paced and high-demand hyperscale data center market.

As the primary point of contact for both new and existing clients, the Project Director is responsible for cultivating long-term strategic relationships with technology companies, cloud service providers, and other high-profile enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess a rare combination of technical acumen, business development skill, and operational leadership. You will need proven success in both securing new project opportunities and leading them through full execution with a high level of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The role involves working and collaborating with preconstruction, estimating, project management, and field operations teams to deliver mission-critical facilities that meet stringent design, scheduling, and commissioning standards typical of hyperscale environments.

Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the executive sponsor and client advocate for all assigned data center projects
- Leading the pursuit of new hyperscale work, including RFQ/RFP responses, client presentations, and strategic proposal development
- Overseeing full project lifecycle delivery from preconstruction through commissioning and close-out
- Ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, and safety performance targets
- Managing cross-functional project teams and mentoring senior project staff
- Acting as the company’s senior representative with external stakeholders, including owners, consultants, design partners, and subcontractors
- Driving operational excellence through implementation of best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and continuous process improvement
