Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager with expertise in data center construction and mission-critical facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and general contracting, with a focus on delivering high-quality, on-time, and within-budget projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of data center construction projects, from planning and design through to construction and commissioning.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure all project requirements and expectations are met.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address any issues or risks that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Lead regular project meetings to review project status, discuss action items, and provide necessary updates to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, budget updates, and potential change orders to project sponsors and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in data center construction and mission-critical facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of general contracting practices, construction methodologies, and building systems.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, techniques, and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Day-to-day

  • Collaborating with design and engineering teams to develop project plans and specifications.
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor construction progress and address any on-site issues.
  • Reviewing and approving project invoices, change orders, and submittals.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or questions.
  • Leading and supporting project team members to ensure project goals are met and deliverables are achieved.
  • Tracking project performance metrics and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
