## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical contracting projects in the mission-critical infrastructure sector, with a focus on data center construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from planning and design to execution and closeout, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
## Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute electrical construction projects within the mission-critical sector, with a focus on data center infrastructure.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met within the specified timeframes and budget.
- Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients, addressing any concerns and managing expectations proactively.
## Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing electrical contracting projects within the mission-critical infrastructure sector, with a focus on data center construction.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards applicable to mission-critical facilities.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage project teams and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, with a strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- PMP certification or similar project management credentials are a plus.
## Day-to-day
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop project plans and specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear direction to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Review and approve project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and project reports.
- Engage with clients to address any concerns, provide updates, and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
