Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for a cutting-edge Data Centre project. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans and procedures for the Data Centre project, with a focus on MEP systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Monitor and document all quality-related activities, including testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for any identified non-conformities.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC best practices and standards.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Manager, preferably in Data Centre or MEP-focused projects.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASHRAE, NEC).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in QA/QC tools and software.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is a plus.

Day-to-Day

• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Review and approve quality documentation, including test reports and inspection records.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure materials and workmanship meet specifications.
• Attend project meetings to provide updates on quality performance and address any concerns.
• Oversee testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems are fully operational and compliant.
• Maintain a comprehensive record of all QA/QC activities for audit and reporting purposes.
