Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Boston office and take the lead on technically challenging, multidisciplinary projects. You’ll coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality electrical designs in sectors like Science & Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Mission Critical, Higher Education, and Government. This is a hybrid position (3 days/week in-office) ideal for a motivated professional ready to take ownership of their work and help grow our electrical engineering group.

Responsibilities
🔹 Lead the design, coordination, and documentation of electrical systems from concept through construction
🔹 Stamp and sign all project work in accordance with applicable codes and professional standards
🔹 Coordinate across all disciplines (MEP/FP/Structural/Architectural) to ensure design integrity
🔹 Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
🔹 Interface directly with clients and participate in project meetings
🔹 Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client-specific requirements
🔹 Support proposal efforts, project schedules, and internal QA/QC processes
🔹 Foster a collaborative team environment within the Boston office

Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
✔ PE license required (MA preferred)
✔ 10–15 years of electrical design experience in building systems
✔ Sector experience in one or more of the following: Science & Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Mission Critical, Higher Education, or Government
✔ Active or eligible for security clearance strongly preferred
✔ Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Team player with a positive, collaborative mindset
✔ Interest in office culture and mentoring the next generation of engineers
✔ Passion for technical quality and professional growth

Day-to-day
⚡ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project development and delivery
⚡ Review and approve electrical documentation with professional stamp/signature
⚡ Provide design solutions for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecom systems
⚡ Lead internal coordination and client communication
⚡ Mentor staff and contribute to training, standards, and knowledge sharing
⚡ Attend in-office project meetings and actively engage with the Boston team
⚡ Participate in proposals and business development as needed
⚡ Champion quality and contribute to the strategic growth of the electrical discipline
